We really love the Arboretum and continue to explore new fun spots. G and I went on a full moon hike a few weekends ago - a brisk, two hour, full moon lit walk! The weekends this fall have been glorious weather -wise, and the colors in DC this year are unlike any here I've seen before! The kids practiced their tree climbing skills

Did you take a weapon on your moon-lit walk? So romantic and adventurous, but I'd be freaked out!
