We had a beautiful weekend away with friends at a nearby beach in Southern Maryland. Here's the view as we arrived!
The kids were so excited to play on the sand and then to make a fire and warm up inside!

We spent a lot of time outside, grateful for the sun because the air was cold!

Seraphina found a sand slide that everyone then enjoyed!
And everyone took turns kayaking...
We had lots of indoor time for games and snacks
Some more outdoor time too!
This time the kids got brave and took their shoes and socks off (and Cecelia took them coat off). After about ten minutes, they were ready for their shoes again and a warm bath...
One of my favorite moments with Cecelia was walking along the beach as they sang this little song
Daddy, Ryan, Seraphina (!!!) and Mama took a very quick dip and were inaugurated into the polar bear club
