The McGuffin

We spent time in Massachusetts for Auntie Shu's funeral right around Easter.  We were so grateful to see lots of family.

If you look closely, you'll see Cecelia and Zan having a little moment on the porch
The kids were happy to have a chance to visit and read with Memere!
Auntie Kristi found a really cool Empty Tomb Resurrection Cake that they created with the kids!

We had a blast go-carting one afternoon...
Zan and Cecelia getting ready for go-carting

Uncle Joe and Cecelia
Kristi and Zoe, Joseph and Wil
Uncle Matt let Fitz do the pedal the whole way around
Seraphina and Daddy cruising here...S did a lot of steering!
Cecelia loved it!

Zoe was old enough to drive on them own! So cool!
Joseph too! And Zan as well!

Woo hoo!

After some lunch we had a chilly walk on the beach.
Me and my sis!

"Who wants to go swimming!?"

Wrestling with Uncle Matt!

Easter Morning brought some new books
And a hunt for Easter Eggs and candy! (Henri finds one in the tree)

Uncle Don came for Easter Brunch
Happy Easter by Fitz

I loved happening upon these little moments all weekend - beyblades with Seraphina and Wil

Auntie Renee!

Uncle Andy and C

Pop, Nana and C

Zoe and C in their matching dresses!!
With Auntie Monet

with Grandpa Phil and Auntie Sarah

Greeting Aunt Kathy before the funeral

Auntie Shu's nine nephews and niece were the pallbearers. The great nephews helped too

We visited the gravesite of Pop and Gram who are our kids' namesakes

Cecelia placed a dandelion
And the kids lined up some rocks

There is just something about this shot that I love

Uncle Andy directed and filmed a movie with the kids in honor of Auntie Shu - they all had such a wonderful time!

Those pictures are so fantastic! What memories! (And Zoe and Cecelia's matching dresses is too much fun. They could be sisters. :-) ) Our kiddies think that video is the best thing!
