We had a full month of adventure, magic, joy and Christmas spirit!
We love the Botanic Gardens all year long but the Christmas trains are always super special!
Fairies only!
The Capitol Christmas Tree is Mama's favorite in DC
The kids had a blast running around nearby
We tried ice skating - a first for all the kids - and a first in a long time for the parents! Ms. Rachel helped C out on the ice
Fitz quickly caught on
It was fun to try it with our friends!
The kiddos all came to Mama's Christmas Concert at the Kennedy Center with Grammie and Granddad!
Then out for a special dinner
The next day brought lots of reading
Cool glasses from G & G
And the tickle monster!
Seraphina and Fitz both had their showcase - an evening event where they share what they've been learning. Seraphina's class studied healthy eating
Fitz' class studied economics and opened a healthy food store.
It was so special to have Aunt Kathy and Uncle John there - especially to read the investor's report!
The next morning, Fitz' class led community meeting!
And Cecelia had them Christmas program!
We visited the National Christmas Tree and found the tree from Massachusetts!
We visited Santa's workshop
Cecelia wasn't so sure about sitting in Santa's lap but they chose to anyway and told Them they wanted a baby doll. Fitz was excited to tell Santa that They wanted a marimba for Christmas. Seraphina chose to stay with Mama and listed many reasons that this wasn't the real Santa...
After four more concerts, Mama and Daddy had a party with their friends!
