Inauguration weekend 2013

We had such a fun inauguration weekend with our cousins!

C loved hanging with them big girl cousin - and sharing them headbands, and writing in them books...

We were outside a lot with great weather - lots of football!

Saturday we headed out to see some sights
Seraphina, Wilson and Henri

Signs were put up early in the week to direct everyone
We stopped at the Russell Building

Had a girls lunch!
And while Zan and Zoe went to the Kids Inaugural Concert, we had a sleepover!
Sunday we headed to the Portrait Gallery!
And met up with Aunt Kathy & Uncle John and Aunt Monet & Uncle Chris
We even met Martha and George Washington! They taught us how to curtsey and bow

Zoe and Cecelia practiced later at home (with a lot of coaching for C from Zoe)
We watched the Patriots together

Monday! Inauguration Day - Seraphina and Fitz woke up and put their khakis and blazers on. We joined the stream of people heading to the Mall
Along the way, someone from French TV interviewed Zoe, Zan and Matt

We could see a jumbotron and had lots of room to play and run around. The audio and visual feed wasn't quite right so we couldn't catch most of the ceremony, but it was still so exciting to be in the crowds!

A few more moments...
